A woman with dark hair tied up sits at her desk, gathering her hair into a bun while looking at her computer screen. The monitor displays the *Wilde About Art* website, showing two portrait paintings — one monochrome and one brightly coloured — under the heading “Contemporary Australian Figurative Art.” She wears a black sleeveless top, has orange nail polish, and a small cross tattoo on the back of her neck. The workspace includes a second monitor, a white mug, and a small plant, creating a modern, creative studio atmosphere.

Announcement: I Finally Own wildeaboutart.com

A decade-long wait, a perfect domain, and the start of something big.

YAAAAAY!!!! I’VE GOT IT!!!!!

It might seem like the obvious domain for me — Lee Wilde, perpetually obsessed with art — but despite wanting it for years, I’ve never actually owned wildeaboutart.com  – until now. After more than a decade of checking, refreshing, hoping, and manifesting, the domain is finally mine. Ten years of patience, totally worth it.

A Decade in the Making

Some domains arrive easily. This one didn’t. For over ten years I watched, waited, refreshed, and checked again. It became a ritual — a tiny creative superstition. And now, at last, the digital universe has aligned. wildeaboutart.com belongs here, and it finally belongs to me.

A Creative Playground Unlocked

Now I get to build the site it was always meant to be: a living, evolving creative playground. It will hold my art, my essays, my behind‑the‑scenes process, and all the beautifully strange projects that shape my practice. A home for the work that doesn’t fit neatly anywhere else — and a space that grows with me.

A woman with dark hair and fair skin sits confidently on a white sofa wearing a vivid red tailored suit. Behind her hangs a large black‑and‑white photograph of her face, creating a striking contrast between the monochrome background and her bold outfit. The minimalist interior features clean lines and a white pendant lamp overhead, emphasizing the modern, artistic atmosphere.

For Collectors and Designers

If you’re an art collector, Interior Designer, stylist, or someone who follows my work closely, you can now subscribe directly on the site. You’ll get first look at new pieces, early access to studio drops, and updates from inside the creative process.

This feels like a milestone — a small but meaningful victory that opens the door to everything I want to build next. wildeaboutart.com is finally mine, and I can’t wait to shape it into something worthy of the wait.
